The times of these events are really puzzling with the clocks moving. I thought yours (the USA's) moving would cancel out the act over here in England but it appears there is now a 2-hour time difference from the old UPDC. Hence my turning up late and missing the start. What a dunce I am!Peace brothers.

I went 2-3 overall. I ended up in 9th place but two people above me disappeared so I snuck in. I drew an
number of lands at the event today. I speculate that's the risk you run in playing a be desire this but I would consider going down to 19 and if I play this again that's just what I'll do. I can't believe the amount of Spore Cry we saw today and what's worse is that our R/x hold back players were MIA so I'm predicting a Spore Cry victory right now. We be Martyr control in big numbers to forbid this Saps infestation. M1 vs. Redleg (Herdblinker). W 2-1An extremely close be. Aven Riftwatcher was key for him. A blinked Mulldrifter after I've unloaded my transfer is GG. In G3. I held onto an Incinerate so that when he tried to rescue an Aven Riftwatcher from vanishing. I burned approach in response which won me one of the best matches I've ever played. M2 vs. Krosanbeast9359 (R/G Land Destruction). L 0-2I've said it before and I'll say it again. Penumbra Spider is incredible. That and Durkwood Baloth kept me at bay and kept him out of destroy range. In G2 I just kept topdecking mountains instead of answers. I played more defensively than I should undergo and my clanmates let me have it after the be. M3 vs. Cadaeic314 (Spore Cry). L 1-2I love Vulshok Sorcerer in this matchup but she alone wasn't enough to make it happen against Essence Warden and a ton of Pallid Mycoderms. M4 vs jtamaro (MUTC). W 2-0bet 2 was epic but I held onto a mountain to go and he used a Piracy Charm to alter me discard rather than killing my Emberwilde Augur. That and a hung Rift Bolt finished the job in 2. If we'd gone to bet 3. I probably would have mulled to 4 with an opening hand of 3 lands and a Karplusan Wolverine.
M5 vs. 53N531 (Spore Cry). L 1-2I won the lay bet but that was it. 53N531 is a deft player and got some nutty draws. I know how to beat the deck but I couldn't for the life of me draw the tools to do so. Plus his sideboard choice of Faith's Fetters was incredible in this matchup. Extremely disappointing but I appreciated the opportunity to play. Thanks 53N531 for hosting the prize donors of the door prizes for your generosity and all the players for making this our first 18 player turnout of the toughen (change surface though we still undergo populate dropping unreportedly.. grr). See you next Sunday!
I was in top 8 change surface though I only won 1 be in this thing. A guy disappeared granting me a back up technical win in round 4. However. I used a standard legal deck and won some games. I started lagging out Game 2 in the quarters won as quickly as I could but comfort went to game 3 with only 2 minutes on the clock. I think the Stars & Cogs and Affinity matchups are better than 50%. Affinity being the closer. Imps go a long ways to helping defeat Affinity. It could use 1 more obtain of blue mana possibly otherwise I think the main is very good. I used all the sideboard cards today object Castigate. bust Memory and Zealot il-Vec as those were intended for MUTC and/or BW act involuntarily and I didn't compete them. Echoing Decay was intended for Saps but came in all day anyways.

You're right. Sarcasm should never be used on a message come in as it is nigh impossible to communicate the fact that you are being sarcastic. Those who use sarcasm do not contribute to discussions at all and just serve to displease and offend populate.
After reading the comprehensive rulebook over and over again we noticed there is really nothing stated about shooting your opponents during a match. Why not act advantage of this?

This deck almost always comes from behind which can lead to some loooooong games depending on how far I get behind. I ended up the measure be playing in every round that I didn't face SapsM1 vs Jtamaro playing MUTC W 2-0G1 he countered everything he could but I had enough CA to get some things through and eventually I hurt up with a Mulldrifter and Riftwatcher on the board (and enough Blinks to keep the Riftwatcher around) to do him in. G2 he could undergo played out longer but it was almost a forgone conclusion and since we were the last match playing he said he didn't want to waste anyone's time and conceded. M2 vs this_guy_dan playing Orzhov Blink L 0-2The games were a little bit closer than the 0-2 record suggests but not much. bet 2 lasted a while because i drew all 4 of my blinks and blinked one Riftwatcher 7 times and a second one once. But in the end he outlasted me. M3 vs 53N531 playing Spore Cry L 1-2This was a end and total blowout by 53N531. He conceded the first game I'm assuming because he didn't draw any forests in the first 3 turns but the next two games were All Saps All The Time. I may as well not played any cards at all. M4 vs Rishard playing GW Aggro W 2-0Game 1 took forever to play out as Rishard jumped out to an early lead and knocked me down to 4 life before I could stabilize. 30 minutes later I landed at 16 life and Game 1 was finally over. bet 2 went faster as I was able to shift his threats as soon as they hit the board and run him over with my fliers. Quarterfinals vs Cadaeic314 playing Spore Cry L 0-2Game 1 I had him drink to 4 life but I decided to get fancy and Blink my tapped Bonesplittered Riftwatcher so I could block his attackers. He played a Kjeldoran War Cry which took out all of my blockers and I neglected to Blink my Riftwatcher again from the graveyard even though I had the mana available. Though it probably wouldn't have made a difference even had I been able to win Game 1 as Game 2 was more of All Saps All The measure and I undergo little cerebrate to evaluate Game 3 would have favored me much better. Aside from a couple bonehead plays against my Saps match-ups I was very pleased with my performance today. Yay first top 8!Thanks to the entertain and sponsors and everyone else for showing up and playing.
I did pretty well in the tournament using a Red/Green Land Destruction be losing only to eegag's Dark Saps in the swiss portions. But alas. I had to leave early to pick up my laundry and ultimately didn't make it approve in time for round 4. Ahhh what could've been...
Round 1 Vs Baron_Sengir 6989 W2-0Baron was playing Cogs and Stripes and he eventually reached Top 4. I think land destruction really caught him off-guard as both games basically consisted of me destroying his lands early (islands to be specific) and burning out his creatures plus pounding for the win. In bet 2 he did eventually amassed enough lands to get his deck's engine running but by that time he was pretty low on life and I had 2 Darkwood Baloths in play so that was that. Round 2 Vs Polyjak W2-0Poly was playing a burn deck that had me by the ropes both games. In both games he had me low on life but the spiders and baloths really kept me out of burn range and eventually won the game for me. Game 2 was a really weird game as he kept on drawing land after land but still had me down to 4 life before my spiders did the job. Round 3 Vs eegag L0-2eegag was playing Darksaps which is a tough matchup for my land destruction. That plus a misclick in game 2 quckly finished the match as he just ran me over with his tokens. If there ever was a wrath of god in pauper it would have to be Deathspore Thallid that card kicks ass!Round 4 Vs laundry?? L0-2
Thanks for 53N531 for hosting and everyone that played! process next week GGs!!!
Well. I played Spore Cry that's about it. I ran Ethereal cloud in the come in as you will see to curb the reflect be in anticipation of a high be of the deck which was a correct judgement but it didn't end up paying off when I needed to by a measly one inform of life which cost my my move to the finals incidentally. Here is the already well-established decklist:
Thanks to everyone to playing and to our fantastic sponsor MTGOTRADERS for supporting great Player-Run events like this one. See everyone next Sunday!
